PADI Open Water Diver Course

The PADI Open Water Diver course is the world’s most popular recreational diver course and can be completed comfortably in just 3 days. This course consists of three parts-- Knowledge Development Sessions, Confined Water Training and Open Water Dives, with the first 2 dives having a maximum depth of 12 meters and the last 2 dives with a maximum depth of 18 meters.


The PADI Open Water Diver certification qualifies you to:

     -Plan and dive independent of supervision with another certified Open Water Diver or higher.

     -Obtain tank air fills or purchase your own scuba equipment.

     -Continue your dive education to earn the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or Specialty Diver certifications

       such as Enriched Air Nitrox Diver or Underwater Navigator.


To participate in the PADI Open Water Diver course, you must be at least 10 years old.


Note: Participants who are 10 to 14 years of age will receive the PADI Junior Open Water Diver certification. Divers aged 10 to 11 are allowed to dive to only 12 meters maximum depth.


Suggested Schedule:

     -Day 1 Arrive Boracay

     -Day 2 0900 Classroom, 1200 Lunch Break, 1330 Confined Water Session, 1530 Dive, 1700 End

     -Day 3 0900 Confined Water Session, 1100 Dive, 1300 Lunch Break, 1430 Classroom, 1600 End

     -Day 4 0900 Dive, 1100 Dive, 1300 Lunch Break, 1430 Final Exam and Certification, 1600 End

     -Day 5 Depart Boracay


PADI Scuba Diver

The PADI Open Water Diver course can be done in 3 days, but if you don’t have enough time, you can complete the pre-entry level PADI Scuba Diver course in 1-1/2 days now and upgrade in the future. This course consists of three parts-- Knowledge Development Sessions, Confined Water Training and Open Water Dives.


The PADI Scuba Diver certification qualifies you to:

     -Plan and dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters accompanied by a Dive Professional.

     -Obtain tank air fills or purchase your own scuba equipment.

     -Continue your dive education to earn the PADI Open Water Diver certification.


To participate in the PADI Scuba Diver course, you must be at least 10 years old.


Note: Participants who are 10 to 14 years of age will receive the PADI Junior Scuba Diver certification.

     -Day 1 Arrive Boracay

     -Day 2 0900 Classroom, 1200 Lunch Break, 1330 Confined Water Session, 1530 Dive, 1700 End

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course can be completed in as little as 2 days. This course consists of 2 Core Dives (Deep and Underwater Navigation) and 3 Elective Dives such as underwater photography, night or wreck dive. By completing 5 Adventure Dives, you gain more knowledge of such diving activities, as well as more experience while diving under the supervision of a PADI Dive Instructor.


Upon completion, you earn the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification, which qualifies you to continue your dive education by earning the PADI Rescue Diver or Specialty Diver certifications such as Deep Diver or Enriched Air Nitrox Diver.


To participate in the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course, you must:

     -Be at least 12 years old.

     -Be a PADI Open Water Diver, Adventure Diver or hold a qualifying certification from another agency.


Note: Participants who are 12 to 14 years of age will receive the PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver certification, and are allowed to dive to a maximum of only 21 meters, while divers aged 15 and up can go to 30 meters during this course.

     -Day 2 0900 Briefing, 1000 Dive, 1200 Lunch Break, 1300 Briefing, 1400 Dive, 1700 Briefing,

PADI Rescue Diver

During the PADI Rescue Diver course, you learn how to anticipate, recognize and prevent problems that occur before, during or after a scuba dive. The various rescue skills that you learn in the course prepare you to handle or assist in real emergency situations. This course can be completed in 3 to 4 days.


Upon completion, you earn the PADI Rescue Diver certification, which qualifies you to continue your dive education to the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating (if you have previously earned 5 Specialty Diver certifications such as Deep Diver and Enriched Air Nitrox Diver) or participate in the Divemaster course-- the first professional level in the PADI system of diver education.


To participate in the PADI Rescue Diver course, you must:

     -Be at least 12 years old.

     -Be a PADI Open Water Diver or hold a qualifying certification from another agency.

     -Be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or hold a qualifying certification from another agency.

     -Have proof of CPR training, such as PADI Emergency First Response, within the past 24 months.


Note: Participants who are 12 to 14 years of age will receive the PADI Junior Rescue Diver certification.

Emergency First Response

PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) can be completed in 1 day and consists of two courses-- Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid). This certification must be renewed every 24 months. EFR, or other equivalent CPR/First Aid certifications, is a prerequisite for the PADI Rescue Diver course.



PADI Divemaster

PADI Divemaster is the first professional level in the PADI system of dive education. The PADI Divemaster course aims to develop the candidate’s knowledge, attitude and skills for the following activities:

     -Supervising certified divers in shore-based and boat-based diving activities.

     -Assisting with training divers in PADI courses.

     -Independently conducting specific PADI programs for certified divers and non-divers.


The PADI Divemaster will also develop the dive theory knowledge, water skills, rescue skills and experience to the levels necessary to enter the PADI Assistant Instructor course and the PADI Instructor Development Course.

     -Prerequisites: Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, proof of 20 logged dives, CPR/First Aid training

      within the past 24 months

     -Minimum Age: 18 years old

     -Recommended Course Duration: 3 to 4 weeks
